How ‘Bout This Time…
I figure about now we can all use to hear some good news
I wish I had some, but I do have a tune or two.
I figure about now we see we’re turning a page in history
I figure it’s time to make our dreams a reality
How about this time we turn that page on a better-new day
How about this time we Walk the Walk; tell me what I say
How about this time we put love first and work from there
And keep your distance from all the hate and all the fear
I figure about now we can all use a word or two of good cheer
Raise a glass or two to the end of hunger and fear
I figure about now we really see the need for a little creativity
If we're gonna make our dreams a reality
How about this time we turn that page on a better-new day
How about this time we Walk the Walk; tell me what I say
How about this time we put love first and work from there
And keep your distance from all the hate and all the fear
How about this time we put love first and work from there
And keep your distance from all the hate and all the fear
How about this time we turn that page on a better-new day
How about this time we Walk the Walk; tell me what I say
I’m talking peace I’m talking truth and a lot of L-O-V-E
I’m talking trust I’m talking R-E-S-P-E-C-T
I’m talking a real kind of equality
I’m talking Truth; I’m talking peace I’m talking L-O-V-E
